The creator of the terrace and outdoor spaces of HOME ELLE Decor studied at the Castillo de Batres School of Landscape Architecture where he majored in restoring historic gardens. His love for history joined with a passion for green spaces has made him an expert in the antique gardens of the Iberian Peninsula and Islamic world. On top of his immense botanical knowledge is his sensitivity and talent. And he’s a virtuoso at reinterpreting historical landscapes and making them fresh and contemporary.

His projects include the preservation and expansion of the garden of the Galiana Palace in Toledo, Spain and the historic recreation of the Mine Museum at Almadén, Ciudad Real and landscape design for Bodegas Bohórquez in Pesquera, Valladolid and an intervention at the Coimbra, Portugal, Botanical Gardens, the garden for the Massimo Dutti concept store in Avenida Liberdade in Lisbon, Portugal and the landscape design and gardens for the Casas del Naval rural tourism project in Cáceres, Spain as well as a courtyard garden at Jorge Juan street 53 in Madrid, which was the first residential project by British real estate agent Grosvenor in Spain.

Among his primary interests are sustainability and the natural vegetation of the Iberian Peninsula.
