Pepe Leal has designed the living room of the HOME ELLE Decor Positive House with his optimistic style and using organic shapes and gentle textures. His language is colour, and contemporary art is his inspiration. He graduated in Art History at the Autonomous University of Madrid and completed his training as an interior designer at the Polytechnic School of London.
His personal background, added to his talent and courage, make him a magician of daring mixtures – for example the English, French and Spanish elements from the 17th and 18th centuries with others from classical and rationalist architecture, among many others.
Hotel projects such as the renovation of the Paradores in Hondarribia, Carmona and Salamanca, the complete decoration of the new Parador of Corias, the refurbishment of all the restaurant areas of ABC Serrano in Madrid and Madrid restaurants such as El Invernadero de Los Peñotes in La Moraleja, Chic Sushi, Huerta de Carabaña, among others, bear his stamp.
Exhibitions with the fashion designer Lorenzo Caprile, with whom he designed the set for the Berlin Opera ballet, are proof of his versatility.
